*Note: I just found this post sitting in my drafts — I never got around to posting it! Now that the holidays have come and gone, the message rings truer than ever. It’s never too late for a Thanksgiving post, right?

Thankful for my family...

Thanksgiving is my favorite day of the year, not just because I have free license to eat a lot of amazing food, but it’s a time to gather with my favorite people to do what we do best — sit in our sweatpants, squish on a small couch to watch TV together and online shop the black friday deals on our various mobile devices.

I suppose this time of year is also great because it is a dedicated time to reflect on all the things that make my life extremely lucky. Over the last few months, I’ve gone easy on the blog posts – mostly because I haven’t had much time outside of work and play to put together something worth sharing. So, that’s the first thing that I have to be thankful for. Now with Charley in our lives, I catch myself spending a lot of time just sitting on the floor getting in all the puppy cuddles I can get or just squeezing myself on her dog bed as she snores away. We also have so much built-in entertainment as the Moby and Neko figure out their new baby sister.

*…and that’s where my post originally ended. Maybe I stopped writing because I couldn’t get over how cute that photo is! One day, they shall cuddle. Until then, I’ll accept this approach. 2014 is going to be great, I can just feel it!
